Noah

Noah followed God’s commands in the Bible so we acted out the story to think about why he did this. We thought about what characteristics Noah had, to be chosen by God and to carry out God’s work.

Anti-Bullying Week

We all wore odd socks to support Anti-Bullying week. We had assemblies and thought about bullying all week.

Bottled Feelings

In RSHE, Year 5 and 6 have been considering their feelings and they made a mood bottle with different materials for each feeling.

Mount Everest

In geography, we are learning about mountains. We studied Mount Everest looking at what mountain range it is located in, its features and then we researched and presented facts about it.

Our Biographies

We chose who we would like to write a biology of and researched their life. We then drafted and wrote their biography.

Timeline

We studied Tim Burners-Lee’s biography and produced a timeline of his life.

New Vocabulary

We are reading Tim Berners-Lee’s biography which contains lots of subject specific language. We learned techniques to help us understand vocabulary we don’t know then matched words to their definitions.

World Mental Health Day

We all celebrated World Mental Health Day with the charity Young Minds # Hello Yellow. We wore yellow and thought about how we can help ourselves and others promote positive mental health. Singing happy songs definitely helped!

Cross Country

Nine very determined children went to the Acle clusters cross country tournament. They all ran exceptionally well and we thank them for representing us so well.
