We have been practicing how to write a correct number sentence in maths.
Here we are creating our own super hero characters and writing about what kind of powers they will need to be a good superhero.
In our topic you can see us creating our own image on God creating day 4. We have learnt that he made the moon and the stars on day 4. We used gold card and black paper to make our own night sky.
In our outdoor learning for our maths we have made shapes out of natural materials. We used sticks, conkers and leaves to complete this task.
During our English lesson we have been learning how to use verbs, there are examples of some verbs we thought of written in chalk.
Everyone enjoyed the sports days and receiving their first, second and third stickers. We all tried our best and everyone won at least one sticker!
The children made apple cups to drink their apple juice from.
In this lesson we looked for signs of life from different animals. We found eaten leaves, birds egg shells and rabbit holes.Â
Emerald Class have been trying out different styles of running to see which style works the best. The finale was a sprinting race with a gold, silver and bronze medal for each year group.
The children of Emerald Class investigated and practised the five different ways of jumping. We finished up with a long jump competition with gold, silver and bronze medals for each year group.
