Egyptian Day

We visited the Castle Museum to take part in an Egyptian day to learn all about the Ancient Civilisation. Over the day, we had to decide whether we believed artefacts should be kept in Egypt in their tombs or excavated to be placed in museums for all to see.

We learned about Egyptian jewelry and we made a replica collar, we discussed and explored Egyptian artefacts and learned about daily life in Ancient Egypt.

It was an interesting debate at the end of the day with half the class voting to leave artifacts where they are and half voting to remove them for all to see in museums.
